Donation Based Monthly Community Events
At Ripple Effect Rides, our commitment to our community partners goes far beyond our day tours and multi-day experiences. Once a month, we host a special community cycling event where our team, local friends, and any visiting guests are invited to join in for a morning of fun.
These events are designed for true local immersion: there is no fixed route or itinerary, and every monthly event is unique. The goal is simple: to raise awareness and funds for our incredible community partners, whilst share a peaceful morning cycling through the countryside with the people and places that make Cambodia so special.
It’s an opportunity for our entire team—from guides to mechanics—to ride purely for passion, strengthen local bonds, and introduce our guests to the incredible spirit of Siem Reap’s community.

Our Community Rides
Explained
Every Community Ride follows the same structure, making it easy to participate:
Meet & Learn: The event begins with a breif induction at our store, followed by a Tuk-Tuk transfer to the partner causes location. Here, participants receive an insightful tour or hear directly from a guest speaker on the ground, learning firsthand about their mission, challenges, and impact.
The Ride (Optional): After the impact talk, cyclists embark on a gentle, curated bike ride through the beautiful Siem Reap countryside, often visiting a local Pagoda or community area where guests will see areas in Siem Reap that are away from the typical tourist trails. Rent one of our bikes, or ride your own – the choice is yours!
Tuk-Tuk Option: To ensure our events are as inclusive as possible, non-cyclists are always welcome! You can opt to follow the entire journey, including the countryside route, by Tuk-Tuk, ensuring everyone can participate in the learning and fundraising aspect.
Register & Donate: Participation is secured through a simple online registration form. A small registration fee covers your bike rental or Tuk-Tuk service, and a minimum donation is required to participate. 100% of the funds raised go directly to the featured organisation.
Registration Fee:
$5 USD – Tuk Tuk Only
$5 USD – Bring your own bike
$7.50 USD – Rent A Bike
$25 USD – Rent An E-Bike
A minimum donation of $10 USD per person is required to join a Community Ride; for those that are able to afford it, we recommend a benchmark of $20USD per person.
